Military wives and women are mainly a strong foothold that builds a nation because they are the unsung heroes. When military wives are back home raising a family while husbands are on call of duty, even the military women in uniform sacrifice a lot when they go to the field, most times returning with PTSD among others. This may go undetected, alienating them from their own families and making it difficult to fit or bond, much less build meaningful relationships.
We then come in to try to offer relief services in the form of hope and knowledge, while reassuring them and appreciating their contributions and integrating them into society alongside their transitions, helping them fit into society more smoothly.
We also offer support by finding possible placements and counselling for those that need it — keeping them busy and self-sustaining while giving them a sense of belonging.
We stand with them, especially those raising families with absentee partners, by encouraging them while appreciating the sacrifices they have made.
